Handheld Stretch Film Dispensers

Handheld stretch films are used for manual stretch wrap packaging application. As a result, hand film rolls are lighter and smaller than machine stretch film rolls.

Our stretch films are grouped by type (blown or cast) and core type (standard or extended).

Standard Cores (Std Cores)

The core roll does not over-hang over the stretch film width. This makes application without a dispenser harder.

Extended Cores (Ext Cores)

The core roll over hangs the stretch film roll width enabling users to grip the roll and apply the stretch film without interfering with the stretch film coming off the roll. Extended core stretch film rolls do not require a dispenser for easy application.

Tips For Using Handheld Stretch Films

- Always place the outside of the film to the package or pallet surface.

- Secure the stretch film to the pallet before wrapping by tying it to the pallet base.

- Always ensure film covers the base of pallet and the bottom layer of the load.

- Wrap bottom of pallet at least twice to secure load.

- Overlap the stretch film by 30 to 50% Depending on the weight of your load, consider wrapping the pallet twice.

- To increase the strength, use the film horizontally to create a "strap".

- Always use a handheld stretch film dispenser for rapid easy application and to prevent injury through straining or repetitive use.
